There are a lot of animals who live in the nature, in the wilderness. They don’t need human help, they are providing food for themselves and they are free, but humans interfere with their way of living, by hunting them and killing them for some value that those animals have, whether it is their skin, meat, hunting for fun or some other need. Although animals can protect themselves from other animals, they cannot defend themselves from people. Human kind is more powerful, but being powerful does not mean that we need to use that power for destroying, we can also use it for protecting. Unlike wild animals, there are a lot of animals who depend on human kind, they cannot provide shelter and food for themselves and they need our help.
It is the fundamental duty of every citizen to have compassion for all living creatures. We need to help those less fortunate ones and those in need. Animal welfare refers to the state of the animal; the treatment that an animal receives is covered by other terms such as animal care, animal husbandry, and humane treatment. Protecting animals welfare’s means providing for their physical and mental needs. The least we can do for our furry friends is providing them with human treatment, by giving them love and attention.
Our physical power is limited within the boundaries of our city, but we try to provide care for the animals. Although animals are not our priority that does not mean we don’t care. We are trying to involve animals care in our activities, by feeding them we are trying to protect them. Adoption is also one of our strategy, by adopting a cat for our office, we want to promote adaptation as one of the means of salvation. We want our volunteers, employees and team create a bond with animals and we want from them to embrace animals as something that is an essential part of life and that we should not exclude them.
